What are we going to do about the gas prices?

As gas prices continue to rise and President Obama continues to do nothing about it, we are put in the position where we have to fend for ourselves. In the past few months, I have found myself looking for a good gas credit card to alleviate some of the pain at the pump. Here are a few of the cards that I’ve been looking through.

Chevron and Texaco Credit Card

This gas credit card is issued by GE Money Bank and offers customers:

  • 10¢/gallon on Chevron and Texaco Fuel Purchases
  • 3% on non-fuel purchases at Chevron and Texaco
  • 1% on other non-fuel purchases anywhere Visa cards are accepted
  • No Annual Fee
  • Three levels of APR (13.49%, 17.49%, and 20.49%)

ExxonMobil MasterCard

This gas credit card is issued by Citibank and offers customers:

  • Earn 15 cents per gallon rebates on gasoline purchases at over 10,000 Exxon and Mobil stations nationwide.
  • Each year, earn up to 2% rebates on your first $10,000 spent on other eligible purchases, and 1% on other eligible purchases over $10,000.
  • No Annual Fee
  • Two levels of APR (19.99% or 23.99%)

Murphy USA Credit Card

This gas credit card is issued by First National Bank of Omaha and offers customers:

  • 4 Cents off per gallon at any Murphy USA or Murphy Express location, which is Wal-Mart gas stations around me.
  • 1% Cash back on Qualifying Credit Card Transactions
  • No Annual Fee
  • Three levels of APR (15.99%, 17.99%, and 19.99%)
