Earlier this month I started seeing more and more advertisements for Credit One Bank, a sub-prime bank that has been around for awhile. This Las Vegas based bank has been offering credit cards for years under the radar and now have decided to take a more aggressive approach. If you go to their website www.creditonebank.com you will see that there is no area to compare their offers and no information on their offers. All you can do is get “pre-qualified” for an offer you know nothing about, or “design your own card” which is something banks did years ago. I don’t know many banks that still promote that they do that.
The Credit One Bank Visa Platinum Card is the credit card that is being promoted more and more. It’s hilarious that they have a sub-prime credit card with a “Platinum” title. This credit card has a 23.90% APR, Annual Fee of $75 [billed monthly] and offers the following features:
